hell. even i’ve given up on this blog.

admittedly, moving to wordpress wasn’t really a genius idea. so. i’m moving back to blogger. *avoids rotten eggs and cabbages being thrown*

so, if you are bored enough to keep hopping or can still be bothered with this fickle little nuisance… continue following me on my journey in life.

yes. i went on another hiatus from blogging. that’s hardly a surprise anymore.

just like how i go on a hiatus from seeing people in real life. in fact, i just received an email from a dear friend saying she’s been hearing complaints about people never seeing me anymore. i won’t bother explaining myself or justifying my disappearance, coz there’s no real reason except, well… laziness.

so… what have i been up to over the last month?

apart from trying to get my hands on a Macbook Pro (yes, i’m still harping on about it!)
it seems like it’s been a never-ending series of weddings
organised a ‘surprise’ in cameron’s for alvin’s birthday. nothing kinky. just got his friends to come up.
rushing to get the next WH men’s collection ready for presentation

that’s about it, really. got lizi’s hen’s night tomorrow. it’s themed ‘masquerade’ so, i’d better get on to making my mask tonight! the wedding is at equatorial next weekend. i get to wear my super-bargain BCBG dress again. woohoo!

After a night of heavy dreaming which left me feeling very emotionally upset, I decided to do a little investigating as to what it could all possibly mean. And after reading the dream interpretations, I’m amazed at how accurate it can be.

Cheating

To dream that your mate, spouse, or significant other is cheating on you, indicates your fears of being abandoned. You may feel a lack of attention in the relationship. Alternatively, you may feel that you are not measuring up to the expectations of others. This notion may stem from issues of trust or self-esteem. The dream could also indicate that you are unconsciously picking up hints and cues that your significant other is not being completely truth or is not fully committed in the relationship.

Climbing

To dream that you are climbing down a cliff, indicates that you need to acknowledge and take notice of your unconscious. You are expressing some hesitance and reservation with delving
into your more negative feelings. Alternatively, it suggests that you may be feeling low or emotionally drained.

Swimming

To dream that you are swimming, suggests that you are exploring aspects of your unconscious mind and emotions. The dream may be a sign that you are seeking some sort of emotional support. It is a common dream image for people going through therapy.

Before I lose semangat to put everything down in black & white, I figure it’s better late than never.

I can’t remember the last time I actually woke up before the sun rose. and amazingly, I didn’t oversleep. I even managed to conduct minimal conversations beyond the usual grunts.

Joanne and I were kind of expecting more of a mild climb and lots of walking. Neither of us really took the term ‘hiking’ seriously. What a big mistake.

The first ten minutes was pleasant and I might even say, rather enjoyable. I even had energy to stop and take pictures. After conquering the first steep slope, I gave up. Everything stopped looking scenic and started looking scary.

We made our first rest stop after about twenty minutes of climbing and panting. After that, stops became more frequent. It became every fifteen minutes. Then every ten minutes. Then it was however long our thighs (and heart) could take before giving way.

One and a half hours later, we finally caught a glimpse of the reward.

as u can see, i’ve lugged my baggage over from blogger. wat can i say? i’m a sentimental girl.

the template’s a little too flowery for my liking, but i like the layout so, for now, i’ll keep it. until i decide to pay wordpress to let me customise my own template. that’s the con of wordpress, but i’ll manage to live with it. i think.

will post about the waterfall hike soon. i promise. =p

and i hope i don’t come tumbling down like jill did. and i certainly don’t want to break my crown like jack did.

i’m going hiking with the Malats to the waterfalls in Hulu Langat. somewhere out in the sticks. i have no idea where it is.

i asked michael if i could get a ride with him. he said yes (not like he has much choice =p).

“confirming time of pick up. 6.45am? groan. apologies in advance if i’m a grumpy bitch. haha”
he promptly replied, “Understood!”

i’m not exactly the morning type of person. but at least, i’m able to participate in minimal conversation now. it used to be just grunts and well… just grunts, really. and death stares.

i just hope this won’t happen.

i’ll be armed with plenty of food and insect repellent. hopefully it’ll be a nice sunny day and maybe, i might finally get a bit of a tan!

surfing online these days is just getting far too dangerous for the likes of me and every other shopaholic.

with the copious amount of shopping blogs popping up all over, it’s so hard to resist ‘just looking’.

of course, many of these sites are utter rubbish. it’s kind of like sifting through the shops in sungai wang to find your pieces of treasure. well, after much clicking, i’ve managed to find a few independent online stores that are bookmark-worthy.

click click click, and before you know it, your bank account has plummeted dangerously low. and all you have to say to defend yourself is, “ooops. i didn’t realise i clicked so much!”

okay. i’m off to meet my cousin for a potential project. i might actually get to use my tablet soon! *happy grin*

there is one little store in melbourne which i have been deeply in love with for their unique collection of jewellery made by independent designers – e.g.etal

i have still yet to find out how it’s supposed to be pronounced. i am loving their current collection. when i think of jewellery, i immediately look to this store for sparks of inspiration.

oh these really make my hands itch and start digging into my jewellery supplies. specially with the new stock my mum brought down for me. yay!
